What has been surprising living here?・日本のここが驚き I was surprised how much Japan has changed since 2004, when I was first here. Tennoji is very different to before, people are always on their smartphones, and there are so many foreigners now!・私は2004年に初めて日本に来ました。私が戻ってきたときに日本がどれだけ変わったかに驚きました。 天王寺は以前とはかなり異なり、人々はいつも自分のスマートフォンにいて、今ではたくさんの外国人がいます！

Why did you come to Japan?・日本に来た理由
I have always been interested in Japanese culture since childhood. My husband was able to get a job here as an English teacher. We saw how beautiful and safe Japan was and thought we can settle down here comfortably.・子供の頃からずっと日本の文化に興味がありました。
夫が日本で英語教師の仕事につくことができました。
日本の美しさや安全さを目の当たりにし、ここに定住することを考え始めました。
What has been surprising living here?・日本のここが驚き It still surprises me everyday how safe Japan is. I still can’t believe people can leave their cars unlocked and running while they go into the convenience store!・今でもなお、日本の安全さには毎日驚かされます。今でも日本の人たちが、コンビニに行くのに車のエンジンをかけ、鍵をかけずにその場を離れられることが理解できないです。
Hobby・趣味 Cooking, traveling, scuba diving, and watching Netflix or Anime・料理、旅行、スキューバダイビングやネットフリックスでアニメを見ること
Philosophy of Teaching・教える為の指針 “There are no such things as mistakes if you learn from them, so don’t be afraid of making any”・間違いから学ぶことは多く、その観点からも、決して間違いを恐れないでください。
