The 2019 English-Please! Kids Annual Picnic is coming!
The Kids Annual Picnic is a popular family event that has been run every year since 2006, held in Amagashinoka Park in Asuka Mura. It’s a great day out for everyone involved and we’ve always been blessed with good weather and a a good turn out.
This year, the picnic will be held on May 26 and we hope that this one will be even better than last year’s.
Throughout the day, there will be a variety of relay races and language-based games with kids, parents, teachers, and managers all working together to score points for their teams. There is also a short hike up to the top of Amagashinoka for a group photo after we take lunch on the grounds together.
The picnic is a great opportunity for everyone to get to know each other outside of the school. Staff can meet students and their families in a more informal setting, while kids can meet and play with other students their own age. It is also a chance for everyone to enjoy both the outdoors and speaking English, and to get a sense of being part of a learning community.
We really hope to see you there, especially you newer students! Please note though that there are only a limited number of places available – we have space for thirty families – and these tend to go fast. Be sure to make your reservations sooner than later or risk missing out.
